Edo State lawmaker representing the Egor Constituency, Natasha Osawaru, was captured in an old video protesting the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Benin.

The protest took place after the INEC declared Monday Okpebholo as the winner of the Edo governorship election in 2024.

The video resurfaced following her engagement to singer 2Baba Idibia amidst his separation and divorce filing from his wife, Annie Idibi, after 13 years of marriage.

Osawaru’s relationship with 2Baba caused a stir in the country, with many expressing their disapproval after the singer publicly declared his love for the politician and lawyer, describing her as smart and expressing intentions to marry her.
