Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola often known as Portable has made an appearance at a church to pray following his legal troubles with the Ogun State government.

The contentious street singer has been placed under arrest due to allegations that he assaulted municipal planning officials at his workplace.

According to reports, Portable has escaped arrest but several of his friends have been placed under arrest. Instead, he is pleading with the administration for leniency.

The artist, dressed in white, was shown fervently begging for divine assistance in a well-known video shot in a church.

His sudden religious conversion has sparked a range of reactions on social media. While some consider it as just another effort to attract attention, others say he is sincerely looking for help.

This is not the first time that Portable has encountered legal issues. The artist, who is known for his unpredictable behavior and controversial remarks, has already encountered law enforcement on numerous occasions. He still has a sizable following, though, who often support him.

It is unclear as the case progresses whether the musician will turn himself in or continue to elude capture. The government of Ogun State, meanwhile, has said that the law must be obeyed.
