Today marks the 70th birthday of veteran actor Nkem Owoh, better known by his stage name Osuofia.

With his funny parts, the comedian and actor played a significant role in the childhood of the majority of Nigerians and people around the globe.

In a post on his X account on Friday, February 7, Nkem Owoh thanked everyone for the opportunity to witness another age in good health.

He wrote, “Hurray, I’m 70 years today.

Nkem Owoh has starred in numerous films, such as Ikuku, Stronger than Pain, and Osuofia in London, which earned him the nickname Osuofia.

In addition, the veteran has won multiple accolades, including the 13th edition of the Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA) Lifetime Achievement Award and the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA) for "Best Actor in a Leading Role" for his exceptional performance in the Nigerian film Stronger than Pain.

Nkem Owoh and MTN also collaborated in 2012, when they signed an endorsement contract worth millions of naira that has been extended on multiple occasions.
