Controversial Nigerian social media activist, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has stated that he will investigate allegations of fraud, forgery, and music royalty theft against gospel music executive, Ezekiel Thankgod, popularly known as Eezee Tee.

VDM’s decision to investigate the issues comes after several controversies surrounding the record label boss, who has faced lots accusations from past signees of contract forgery, manipulation, rights theft, and others.

VDM stated that he wants to investigate the issue after analyzing the situation, though he initially didn't want to.

He said: “I will go find what I need to find,” he stated, adding: “I have seen the claims and the counterclaims, and I want to know what really happened.”

VDM also expressed worry over alleged attempts to control the narrative by paying bloggers to shape public opinion.

According to him, certain narratives presented in the media made him want to carry out an independent investigation.

“I will analyse the full video. Some people may not be happy about it, but it is what it is,” he said.
