Veteran Nollywood actor Asa Koko tragically passed away following a protracted struggle with an unidentified illness.
In a moving Instagram post on Thursday, January 30, his colleague Kunle Afod revealed the news of his passing.
Kunle Afod shared a moving video of his visit to Asa Koko's house prior to his death on social media as a way to honor the late actor.
In a simple but touching message, Afod wrote, “May his soul rest in peace. Asa Koko. It’s a WRAP.”
Asa Koko bravely described his terrifying hospital stay and the many difficulties he had while ill in the viral video, despite having a clearly swollen leg.
He said, “I was hospitalised at Island. I was battling with injuries on my legs. The state governor even visited me during the treatment.”
