Nigerian politician and human rights activist Omoyele Sowore jokingly stated that, contrary to countries needing individuals with vision, mission, and sense, Nigeria only needs bulletproof during elections.

The politician, who appeared on the 'Curiosity Made Me Ask' show, noted that Nigeria does not need sense, mission, and vision during elections, but all it needs is bulletproof.

Sowore made this statement while defending the reason he lost during the February 2024 general elections. During the conversation, he mentioned that the host needed a bulletproof, to which the host responded that it was not even two minutes into the interview and Sowore was already mentioning bulletproof. Sowore replied that it was because that is what Nigeria's elections demanded.

He said, "Isn't that how Nigerian politics is? You do not need sense, vision, or mission. You just need a bulletproof. Isn't this where MC Oluomo is?"

Speaking further, the human rights activist asserted that Nigeria has stopped conducting elections to elect individuals to lead the country, rather, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) selects people to lead the country and govern its affairs.

The host, Bae U Barbie, asked the politician if it was not high time he wrote a book documenting his struggles in presidential elections, since he has contested and lost more than once. She suggested that the politician write a book with the title "Ten Easy Steps to Lose a Presidential Election."

Sowore agreed with her, noting that he was working on it and his struggle was the fact that he had not gotten Atiku Abubakar to write the foreword because he has lost more than he has, hence he needs his expertise.

He said, "I'm working on it. Just that I have not been able to get Atiku to write the foreword."

The interview delighted many fans as they applauded Omoyele Sowore for his sense of humor, calmness, composure, and intelligence.
