The arrest warrant for gospel singer Mercy Chinwo's manager, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu Thankgod, has been revoked by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The gospel singer and her former manager, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, are at odds over allegations of fraud.
Onyedikachukwu was accused by Mercy Chinwo of embezzling $345,000 from her.
As a result, Onyedikachukwu has an arrest warrant issued by a Federal High Court in Lagos.
Onyedikachukwu was the target of a motion filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which claimed he misappropriated money and failed to pay royalties from Chinwo's digital music and event earnings.
However, on Friday, January 24, the commission asked their attorney, Mrs. Bilikisu Buhari, to have the arrest warrant revoked.
Recall that a few days ago, Onyedikachukwu refuted the allegations levelled against him by the singer, describing them as false.
He claimed that Chinwo, a mother of one, had received more than the alleged diverted amount from his record label, EeZee Conceptz Global.
