Singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, gave an electrifying performance at the 85th birthday celebration of billionaire Chief Rasaq Akanni Okoya on January 12, 2025.
Okoya, known to be a wealthy Nigerian, had a lavish birthday party in Lagos that was attended by several wealthy individuals.
Some notable personalities who graced the occasion include former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, media mogul Dele Momodu, and billionaire Tony Elumelu, among others.
The Nigerian entertainment industry was not left out, as Davido, Iyabo Ojo, and Paulo also stole the spotlight at Okoya's 85th birthday party.
The billionaire's birthday happened amid the EFCC's invitation to his sons, Wahab and Raheem Okoya, for questioning following their abuse of naira incident that sparked a massive outcry from Nigerians calling for their arrest.
Raheem and Wahab were spotted in a viral video spraying bundles of N1,000 notes, which led to a police officer being detained.
During Davido’s performance of some of his hit songs, Okoya's sons and his wife Shade joined the DMW label boss on the dance floor.
