Crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has appealed to singer Burna Boy to show mercy to his colleague Speed Darlington and call for his release.

Speed Darlington was arrested after claiming that Burna Boy had a romantic relationship with embattled American music executive PDiddy in order to acquire his Grammy Award.

Despite numerous appeals to Burna Boy, Darlington has remained in detention even after a court order for his release, sparking mixed reactions on social media.

Bobrisky has also joined the conversation, calling on Burna Boy to intervene and stating that 45 days in detention is punishment enough.

Taking to his Instagram Story, Bobrisky wrote:

“I just wanna mind my business this year and stay away from anything that connects with Nigerian celebrities. But my soft heart won’t stop me from thinking of many things.

“Pls Burna Boy, forgive Speed [Darlington]. Pls, prison is not a nice place. I don’t think he has money for a VIP section cos it’s expensive.”
