Screen diva Ini Edo is currently in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, attending the prestigious Red Sea International Film Festival, RSIFF, as an international guest.
The actress took to Instagram to express her pride in representing Nollywood at the festival, highlighting the industry’s growth and recognition globally.
The festival runs from December 5 to 14, showcasing 15 competition titles and film festival circuit favorites. Ini expresses pride in Nollywood’s growth and recognition on the global stage.
“It’s 2024 @redseafilm festival opening night. Pulling out here in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia representing the Nollywood industry. An industry built on love and passion, blood, sweat and tears. From our early DvD home video days to global recognition, standing toe to toe with our counterparts in other parts of the world. The exciting conversations about the future of our industry and the sheer amazement of being recognized by the people we used to and still look up to.
“I am proud of every single person contributing to the growth of our industry. We will continue to thrive, soar and tell our original indigenous stories till we take our rightful place in the world of film making.
