Singer Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour, celebrated his 41st birthday at the hospital with pregnant women.
Flavour visited the pregnant women at the Esut Teaching Hospital at Parklane in Enugu to spend quality time with them in the maternity ward.
Several pregnant women and nurses gathered to enjoy Flavour’s melodious performance, which he dedicated to them.
There were claps and cheers of excitement following Flavour’s beautiful music.
One of the women in labour who enjoyed Flavour’s serenade expressed her appreciation after her delivery. She said she never believed she would be one of the lucky women to experience such a special moment.
Mrs. Sowo, the deputy director of nursing services, thanked Flavour on behalf of the hospital and the recipients for his kindness.
Flavour chose to celebrate his birthday by clearing all outstanding bills of women in the maternity ward.
‘She said, “I want to thank you for your benevolent act towards our patients, especially those who have been discharged for a long time but couldn’t pay their bills.”
Flavour expressed his gratitude, saying, “It was truly a fulfilling day for me. It was a unique way for me to celebrate my birthday and share joy. I call it doing the Lord’s work. I’m a fulfilled man."
