Seasoned Nigerian actress, Ngozi Nwosu has described how the state she comes from abandoned her while she was ill.

The Abia State native stated in a radio interview that she is unable to provide her people with any free services due to their lack of support when she needed them.

According to Ngozi Nwosu, the only that helped her during her trying times was her popularity as an actress adding that the people of Arochukwu local government area did not come to her aid.

She said, “I have personally decided that there is nothing my Abia State will call me for, that I would go for free.

They would pay through their nose for me to go. I’m from Arochukwu local government area of the state.

It was the fame I had through the roles I played in a series that helped me when I needed help because the person who reached out to the Lagos state government to save my life did that because she loves me as her favorite actor."

Recall that Ngozi who is 61-year-old was diagnosed with kidney-related disease.

In 2020, she opened up about the disease and how devastating the situation had gotten.
