Popular Nigerian comedian Abovi Ugboma, often known as Bovi, has explained why it's important for parents to teach their male children good relationship skills at a young age.

According to the father of three, some children start to develop an interest in the other gender as they become conscious of who they are.

Bovi stated that parents ought to teach their children the proper behaviour instead of stifling their speech. He mentioned in an interview with Your View on Television Continental (TVC) that some men are not raised correctly, which has an impact on the women they date.

The 45-year-old comedian, who is also an actor, suggested that parents should watch over their children when they go on play dates.
