Popular Nigerian gospel singer Ada Ehi has expressed her worries about Christians celebrating Halloween, raising questions about the spiritual implications of their behavior.
The singer posed a challenge to her fellow Christians on her Instagram account on Tuesday night, October 15, 2024, citing biblical verses that forbid partaking in actions associated with the dark.
She wrote, “Dear Christian, when you participate in Halloween, what exactly are you celebrating?
So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth (Revelation 3:16, NKJV)."
Ada Ehi also cited 1 Corinthians 10:21 (NKJV), which states, "You cannot partake of the Lord's table and of the table of demons; you cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons."
Fans debated the matter in the comments section after her post sparked a conversation. However, many people concurred with her that light and darkness had nothing in common.
