The General Overseer of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, popularly known as Prophet Odùméje, has stirred controversy by stating that he has been fasting and praying since 1996.

During a church service, the controversial cleric shared with his congregation his dedication to his spiritual beliefs.

He mentioned that his commitment has led him to reduce his food intake. He warned visitors coming to his home to be prepared, as they will not be offered a choice of food.

He said, “Since 1996, I’ve been in fasting and prayer till today. I’m not a man of food. That is why when you come to my house, nobody will ask you, do you want to eat?”
