In a new recording that has emerged, popular crossdresser Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, often known as Bobrisky, claimed he paid an unidentified Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) N5 million up front to get the Federal Government to pardon him for money laundering charges that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had brought against him.

On Monday, October 7, 2024, social media personality Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, released the recording.

The phone recording was made on May 16, 2024, according to VeryDarkMan.

Bobrisky stated on the recording that the SAN requested N10 million, but he was unable to provide the entire sum since the EFCC had frozen his account.

Bobrisky allegedly said, “I’m supposed to finish my sentence by July, but if we get the amnesty, I could leave by the first week of next month,” Bobrisky purportedly said.

“The SAN asked for N10 million, which I could have transferred, but my account is frozen.

“My godfather gave me N5 million, and we sent it to the SAN two weeks ago. He has already submitted the pardon request.”

Last week, it was claimed that Falz father who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, (SAN) Femi Falana, denied knowing Bobrisky.

Femi Falana maintained that the crossdresser only spoke to his son, Falz, and that he never did business with Bobrisky.
