Controversial actor, Yul Edochie has blasted Nigerians who know everything about characters in the Bible like Moses, Jacob and others but have little or no knowledge about their ancestors.

Taking to his official Instagram platform, Yul stated that it was a ‘big shame’.

He wrote: "We have all been brainwashed to know everything about Moses, Jacob, Isaac and the people of Israel yet we know nothing about our ancestors, we know nothing about the exploits of our grandfathers, grandmothers & all the great people in our lineage.

"Big shame on all of us.

"If you don't know who you're and where you're coming from you'll never know where you're heading to."
