Controversial self-described sex therapist Hauwa Mohammed also referred to as Jaruma, has revealed her marital motivation.
In 2018, the sex therapist married Ross Fahad Isabor, however, they separated in 2021, and the marriage was blessed with a child.
In an interview on the podcast "Issues and Society," Jaruma revealed that the harsh criticism she faced from people in the north for being a single woman selling aphrodisiacs led her to get married.
She said, “There was massive criticism from the north because I was selling sex products as a single lady. They wondered why people allowed a single lady to teach them what happens in the bedroom for lots of money.
It wasn’t easy at all. The sex industry is a multi-billion industry, I have made N760 million in 3 years. So I thought the industry would not die, and I have a booming business, so I couldn’t just leave because of the heat I was going through.
I just said if marriage is the problem, let me just do it. I didn’t get married because of love, I got married a month after meeting my ex-husband just to get away from the pressure I got from the north.
He knew it was not for love but pressure because I told him.”
Recall that in 2022, Ross Fahad Isabor issued a warning to Jaruma, asking her to desist from using his name to market her “fake products.”
