'Being a Nigerian gets tougher by the minute' - AY laments

Popular Nigerian comedian Ayodeji Richard Makun, well known as AY has expressed his frustration with the current situation in Nigeria.

In a recent tweet, he lamented the increasing difficulties faced by Nigerian citizens.

The comedian on Thursday 22, took his plight to the microblogging platform, X, to lament the difficulties faced by Nigerians noting that being a citizen of the country becomes tougher and tougher within minutes.

AY wrote, “Being a Nigerian just gets tougher and tougher by minutes.”

Recall that in August, Nigerians embarked on a nationwide protest demanding a better Nigeria and an end to bad governance, unemployment, and high cost of living. Despite nationwide demonstrations, the government has yet to address these pressing issues.

His statement has sparked numerous reactions from concerned Nigerians who are experiencing the same.
