Controversial social media critic and activist Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan, has joined other Nigerians in responding to Pastor Abel Damina's comments regarding Christian tithing.

Recall that Abel Damina, the senior pastor of Power City International, mentioned in a podcast that he used to promote tithing among Christians.

Recently, Pastor Abel Damina altered his stance, stating that tithing was a way for pastors to exploit money from their congregants.

To support his argument, Pastor Abel Damina pointed out that Jesus did not pay or receive tithes in the Bible.

Christians and others have reacted to his statement in various ways. However, a video has surfaced showing social media activist VeryDarkMan supporting the pastor.

He shared posts from Christians criticizing Damina, stating that the pastor was appointed by God and knew the truth about other ministers.

VeryDarkMan mentioned that he might consider visiting Damina's church, but he would ensure that his children did not donate money there.

He said, “My children wouldn’t put one naira in church; we create an altar, burn the cow or goat, and everything we go up."
