Falegan Opeyemi David has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to consider increasing the salary of military personnel by 400 percent.

According to him, the military dedicate their lives to protecting the nation and should be paid accordingly.

Taking to his Instagram page, Opeyemi wrote; “Pls Mr president, @officialasiwajubat baba tinubu, pls give 400percent increment in salary for our military men.

Our Nigerian flag does not fly because the wind moves it. It flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it.”

Falegan’s comments come after the federal government announced a 300 percent increment in judicial officers salaries.
