Popular Nigerian beauty influencer and media personality, Eniola Adeoluwa, often referred to as Eniola, has voiced his concerns about the normalized behavior of cheating among Nigerians.
Eniola took to the microblogging platform X to express his frustration, stating that he hates the fact that a Nigerian living in Nigeria must exhibit a "slight madness" to avoid being cheated. According to him, it is quite heartbreaking that a person has to adopt a bit of madness to prevent being deceived or taken advantage of.
He wrote: "I hate that in Nigeria, you must have slight madness like you don’t have a choice; you must be a little mad. If not, they will cheat you, ride you, and think it’s okay.
"Don't worry, e je ka ma se were lo." He wrote in Yoruba language, meaning "let's keep deceiving ourselves."
