Popular actor, Hanks Anuku recently began a solo protest against hunger in the country.

Hanks’ protest comes amidst the rise in fuel prices and the increase in food prices, leading many to go hungry due to their inability to afford food.

In a video circulating on social media, Hanks was seen on the street holding a flag with had the inscription, “hunger dey ooo”.

While conducting his protest, residents watched as he waved the flag and spoke to some individuals who approached him.

The video has since sparked reaction from Nigerians. Here are some comments.

obengeneral: It’s funny how the government and the people are hypothetical about their society. What hard in government securing a vast land and whoever comes out to complain about food should be employed as farmer and put the person their to work. Prisoners are there sleeping, they can be taken to the bush for farming instead of wasting Human Resources on irrelevant debates.
