Nigerian televangelist Apostle Gideon Odoma has said that it was not right for people to say that he looks like French footballer Kylian Mbappe.

The cleric made this comment in a tweet while reacting to comparisons made after a video of him preaching went viral.

A man going by the name Seye had questioned religious fanatics about the propriety of equating a cleric with a football player.

He asked; “I hope it is not dishonour to say Apostle Gideon Odoma looks like Kylian Mbappe”

Odoma retorted that he couldn't be regarded as resembling Mbappe because he is older than the Real Madrid attacker.

He wrote: “It is. I am older than him. So, I can’t be the one looking like him. I was here, with this ‘look,’ before he was born. That’s why I can’t be the one looking like him. Any more inquiries?”
