Controversial media personality, Martin Vincent Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has responded to businessman, Obi Cubana's call for blogs to not give him visibility.

The controversy began when activist VeryDarkMan criticized Iyabo Ojo, claiming she was only invited to Davido’s after-party and not his main wedding.

Paul Okoye defended Iyabo, which led VeryDarkMan to target him instead.

Obi Cubana also reacted to the ongoing internet backlash, warning blogs to stop giving visibility to youths who disrespect elders.

However, VDM criticized Obi Cubana for labeling him a disrespectful youth. The social media activist claimed that Obi Cubana is not as wealthy as he appears, adding that he only shows off on social media.

He pointed out that, there are many wealthier Hausa/Fulani men in the north who don't flaunt their wealth like Obi Cubana.

VeryDarkMan also stated that while Obi Cubana has his fans, he has his own following and is not a slave to money like many nightclub owners.

He further accused Obi Cubana of being a greedy man, claiming that despite being a liquor producer, he has never made any meaningful contribution to Nigerian youths.

Instead of getting them job opportunities, VDM claims that Obi Cubana offers them alcohol.

VDM also criticized Obi Cubana for not supporting Nnamdi Kanu, alleging that his only impact on Nigerian youths is promoting easy access to alcohol.
