Controversial social media critic Vincent Martins Otse, better known online as VeryDarkMan recently made a significant online comeback after being released from prison.
He was released on June 13, 2024, after meeting his bail conditions following his arrest.
Shortly after regaining his freedom, VeryDarkMan posted a new introduction to himself on his Instagram page. The post included a video of him dancing and singing at his house, where he could be heard singing a section of "Beast of No Nation," the popular Afrobeat hit by Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
Nigerians had mixed reactions to VDM's social media announcement video after his 9-day stint in prison. While some praised the internet critic, others mocked him.
