Grammy award-nominee Davido has responded to criticism from his colleague Portable for reportedly offering him "bad advice" during a recent dinner they had in the United States.
The Afrobeats superstar recently bemoaned to Portable that after signing with Sony Music, the artist encouraged him not to deal with the label and pushed him to go with Empire.
Portable later accused Davido of foul play, claiming that Davido encouraged him to sign with a label that might not affect his chances of winning a Grammy. He added that he was also hoping to win one like Davido.
In response, Davido unfollowed Portable on Instagram. The DMW boss has now unfollowed Portable, according to a Thursday night, June 13, visit to their respective Instagram pages.
Earlier, Portable had voiced concerns about someone attempting to set Davido up against him. He claimed that despite people's "pushing," he declined to fight with Davido as the DMW boss had previously supported him.
