Finally coming to terms with my dad's death - Ayra Starr

Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr has stated that she is finally accepting the death of her father.

The Mavin Records signee said that the outro of her upcoming album "The Kids Are All Right," is a memorial to her father, who passed away many years ago.

Ayra Starr revealed this in a recent interview with Elle magazine.

She said: “I end the album with a song called ‘The Kids Are All Right,’ which is my niece singing about dad and finally coming to terms with the death of my dad."

Ayra Starr will release her sophomore album, "The Year I Turned 21," which includes features from Asake, Seyi Vibez, Giveon, Anitta, Coco Jones, and Mil on Friday, May 31, 2024.

Ayra Starr has four siblings; two brothers and two sisters. They are Tolulope, Jesutumise, Ade and Dami Aderibigbe.

The singer's brother Dami is a songwriter, producer, and guitarist who helped inspire her to pursue a music career.
