A video is making round of American rapper Swae Lee enjoying Nigerian dish, pounded yam and egusi soup.

In the video, the rapper was spotted taking small bites of the plate of pounded yam and eating it with the egusi soup served in a bowl.

This has since caused a stir on social media with several Nigerians reacting to the video.

While some raised concerns over the dry egusi soup he was served, others wondered why he wasn't advised to swallow the pounded yam instead of chewing it.

Nigerians who were impressed by his courage and love for Nigerian food hailed him.
