As the Big Brother Naija reality TV show continues, Pere the third Head of House for the season six 'Shine Ya Eye' edition, has removed Whitemoney from kitchen duties for a week, causing fans to react.

According to Pere who made the announcement on Wednesday evening to the entire housemates that he was removing Whitemoney from kitchen duty, defended his action by saying that kitchen monopoly is not healthy.

“I’m against the idea of one person cooking for everybody for the entire stay. It’s not logical because that creates a ‘you all would need me’ or ‘you all have to need me’ mentality, which is very detrimental. It is horrible and I don’t like that,” he said.

Prior to his announcement, he was heard telling Maria, his deputy that Whitemoney had hijacked the cooking as a strategy.

“That’s why I must do everything I can to have him not be in the kitchen all the time. I can cook,” he continued.

“I’m about to cut you some slack,” he said after Whitemoney confirmed he had been cooking since the show started.

“So from now till Monday, somebody else will be in charge of the cooking,” he continued.

Following Pere's action, many Nigerians especially Whitemoney fans have taken to social media to express their displeasure.
