Big Brother Naija reality star, Tolani Baj, recently contributed her experience to a discussion on social media.
The ex-housemate quoted a tweet by @timigod which said that Nigerian employers get away with a lot of bad behavior partly because most people don’t have better options.
Tolani thanked the young man for speaking up and revealed that she got fired from a Nigerian record label for speaking up for her rights.
She continued by saying that she was owed salary for months and had to plead to be paid via mail after she stopped going to work.
Like that was not enough, the young lady also said that the music industry tried to silence her by trying to hide the main reason she was fired. She also advised people to be bold enough to speak up for their rights.

Yes! Thank you for speaking up.
