Outspoken and controversial author, Reno Omokri stated categorically on social media that women who claim to be feminist cannot be Christians at the same time.

Omokri, a former presidential aide of President Goodluck Jonathan said women must submit to their husbands as stipulated in the bible - a value feminists are fighting against.

He also went further to say that feminism and Christianity can’t co-exist.

"You can be a feminist, or you can be Christian. But you can’t be feminist and a Christian. A Christian wife must submit to her husband. A feminist does not submit to a man. Thus, feminism (as is currently defined ) cant coexist with Christianity,” he tweeted.
