Nollywood filmmaker and actress, Biodun Stephen, took to social media to recount moments she remembers spending with her late mother who passed on 20 years ago.

In the post she shared on her official Instagram, Bidoun thanked her mum for bringing her up the way she did and also described in detail how industrious she was.

The movie star also mentioned in another post that she misses motherly love and all the prayers, gist, and moments they would have had together.

Excerpt from one of her posts read:

"I remember that Sunday, 6:45am 5th November 2000. I didnt think it would be our last. Barely 15minutes later you were gone. Hit by a driver so drunk, he didn't know aside injuring 5 others, he killed one. You. We would only find out you had been killed 36hours later. Ibironke. it’s been 20 years, with many highs and lows. I miss my mother's love."

In Honour of our Mother: @whoisphoenixx and i decided to do some charity work. This is the first leg of that plan. Feed 250 street kids. A big thank you to my mother's twinnie, her younger sister Julie's Kitchen for prepping this meal. Many thanks to my amazing cousins Sarah, Abigail and Elizabeth who took the reins on this as well as Success and Biola. I was physically indisposed to do anything strenuous apart from crying, so my daughter Oluwaferanmi went in my stead. She shared her experience in the last slide. It was important for feranmi to understand poverty is real and to appreciate every morsel of food that sits on her dinning table, as there many hungry kids whose only fault was been been born. We will always be thankful for the food on our table, the clothes on our back and the roof over our head. We remain thankful to God Almighty for wellness and wellbeing.
