It is a sad time for the medical community in Nigeria following the loss of a young medical doctor.
Some Nigerians on Twitter have taken to the micro blogging platform to mourn him after he reportedly died from Coronavirus.
The late doctor identified as Dr. Val is said to be one of the doctors who volunteered themselves and treated people with injuries from the protest at Lekki toll gate.
Some Nigerians who were actively part of the Lekki protest revealed that late Dr. Val and his colleagues gave free medical treatment to those who were injured.
Check out some reactions from Twitter below:
Rest in Peace Dr Val

COVID19 took you from us but it can't erase your memories.
You were fit as a fiddle.
You live on in our hearts.
Rest on brother. Rest on.
RIP DR. Val. He was one of the doctors that treated some injured end SARS protesters on 20.10.20. COVID 19 is still prevalent. Pls use your face mask and keep to all COVID 19 protocols. All in-person #EndSARS protesters should pls self isolate. pic.twitter.com/B4sLM0ZYaA

The news of the death of Dr. Val breaks my heart. Didn't know him personally but we've had some interactions on the TL. Unproblematic, jovial young man full with dreams. 2020 has taken too much already.
