The #EndSARS protest is a major activity going on in Nigeria at the moment and the country has witnessed massive support from both the old and young generations to put an end to police brutality.
SARS is known to be a Nigerian police force unit under the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department which was established to detain, investigate and prosecute people involved in crimes like armed robbery, kidnapping and other forms of crimes.
However, SARS has come under controversy for being associated with acts of extortion, torture, framing and blackmail which led to the protest by Nigerians worldwide.
The protest which was hashtagged #EndSARS has been tweeted by celebrities who were at a point spearheading or leading the protest. The wild protest resulted in the disbanding of the Special Anti Robbery Society (SARS).
Meanwhile, big stars beyond Nigeria have also joined in the protest by adding their voice through their tweets to end the brutality meted out to the people by the police force.

Well done to all the Nigerians who have been protesting against SARS - those who made donations to fund organisations lobbying against it - those who have recently been informed & took time to educate themselves.
