Cuppy promotes upcoming artistes

Nigerian disc jockey and Producer, DJ Cuppy has performed a truly noble deed "indeed."

She actually fulfilled her promise to promote upcoming artistes.

This is coming days after she complained of the hundreds of daily emails she gets from upcoming artistes.

Speaking about the motive for supporting artistes, The Save the Children Ambassador said:

"I get a lot of music from up and coming artistes. Some of it I feel is really good and these artistes need a platform to shine on. Therefore I decided to start my own playlists- it is called #CuppyDMTracks.

"All you have to do is send me your music via SoundCloud or DM it to me. I will listen and will pick my top 10 tracks every single month. Who knows you could be the next star."

The "Gelato" crooner went on to premiere her initiative last night and her hashtag #CuppyDMTracks trended all night long. Several people commended the singer for the well-thought-out endeavour- especially in a highly competitive industry where everyone claims to be self-made and want to stay atop of the charts.
