Nigerians on Twitter are currently debating on who the better artiste is between Terry G and Naira Marley.
Terry G who reigned between 2009 and 2013 had fans going gaga due to the kind of songs he dropped which are widely believed to inspire madness on the dancefloor.
However, a new kid on the block - Naira Marley - has come with a new style which many believe has placed him above or in the same level as Terry G.
Some of his songs which are seen as promoting immorality and societal decay include 'Yahoo Boy', 'Puta and 'Soapy'.
MyNigeria brings you some of the tweets from the debate currently trending on Twitter as at press time.

I'm a Marlian but comparing Naira Marley to Terry G is blasphemy. Terry G that his head is not correct. Somebody that did part 1-3 for a song that we all knew did not make one single sense but once he rang that his bell, we'd be scratching our chests like possessed monkeys

Terry G might be a better artiste and entertainer than Naira Marley and he was only loved for that but he doesn't have as much influence as Naira Marley has on his fans. Naira Marley has been able to mess with his fans psychologically which is why he'll be on the scene for long.

Until Naira Marley does part 1,2,3 of a song, never compare him to Mr bling bling aka ginger the ginger aka swagger the swagger Terry G https://t.co/kr97MBaOL0

Terry G was here in the Era of little or no Social Media, he reigned in the late 2000's. If there was Social Media to help his Hype back then, he would surpass Naira Marley easily. Naira Marley has to do this for 3/5years straight for any comparison.

Naira Marley can not touch the hem of Terry G's musical garment.

Except you were 2-years-old when Terry G started making music, you'll remember that for 4 years, the man held Nigerian music by the neck.
By features alone, he is untouched.
If we now move to his own singles, Jesus
