Yul Edochie, Nasboi and Omah Lay weigh in on Wizkid and Davido feud

Skit maker and singer Lawal Michael Nasiru Bolaji, also known as Nasboi, has shared his thoughts on the ongoing feud between Davido and Wizkid.

During an episode of the Bahd and Boujee Podcast, co-hosted by reality star Tolanibaj and actress Moet Abebe, Nasboi mentioned that he was a fan of Wizkid and admired him despite never having met him.

He also expressed his love for Davido, mentioning that he is close to the singer.

Nasboi stated, “I used to be a Wizkid fan. I loved Wizkid. I love Davido so much because I am close to him. I don’t know Wizkid. I have never seen Wizkid in my life.”

Nigerian singer Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay also commented on the ongoing disagreement among his colleagues.
He suggested that the artistes are seeking attention and hopes that their upcoming music will receive positive feedback after all the drama.

Omah Lay said he found the conflicts in the music industry entertaining.

On his Instagram page, he wrote: “It’s funny seeing everyone going at everyone
After all this noise I hope your next shit bangs! You feel me?”

Meanwhile, Nollywood actor Yul Edochie believes that Wizkid’s recent outbursts on social media may be a result of the pain he is experiencing following the passing of his mother on August 18, 2023, in London.

Recall that Wizkid initiated a heated exchange on social media, playfully teasing his colleagues Davido and music executive Don Jazzy.

Yul Edochie suggested that the “Essence” singer may be struggling with psychological issues.

In a video posted on his Instagram page, Yul wrote:

“Many people would not understand what is happening to Wizkid. But I will tell you, it’s the pain of losing his mother.

“Wizkid is going through the pain of losing his mother. It’s a terrible pain. You see that pain of losing a loved one? It’s a terrible pain. It’s a pain that would make you question God. It’s a pain that would make you question life. It’s a pain that would make you throw caution to the wind. It’s a pain that would make you sometimes want to even take your life.

“It’s a pain that would make you sometimes become even disrespectful and just say a lot of things. Its a pain that would even make you question your existence. You lose your mother and you lose your sanity. It’s a terrible pain. And that’s what is happening to Wizkid.

“Unfortunately, we live in a world that would even give you more pain than love.”
