Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has slammed Davido for failing to feature him as promised.

It has been suggested that Davido turned down Portable’s request for a feature after a dispute in Atlanta, United States.

In June 2024, the two artistes had an altercation on social media after Portable accused Davido of giving him bad advice during a dinner in Atlanta.

This led to Davido unfollowing Portable on Instagram, prompting Portable to express his frustration on social media.

In a recent Instagram post on Sunday, August 11, 2024, Portable mentioned that since Davido did not fulfil his promise to support him with a verse, he decided to release his song independently.

He wrote on Instagram: “Na who helps you be your helper; who promises you fit change mind. As @davido no gree give me verse on this song, I don kuku drop myself. Star. Don’t beg to shine. Who go help you no go stress you.”

His post has since gotten several Nigerians to share their thoughts, with many hailing Davido for not featuring him.
