Media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, has refuted claims of being the person behind the voice note released by Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan, accusing him of having drug dealers as friends.

VeryDarkMan shared a voice note where Nedu allegedly claimed that he has friends who are into Yahoo Yahoo and also dealing with illegal drugs. As a result, the activist submitted some petitions about it at three embassies with a copy of the voice note.

In response, Nedu denied the voice note linking him to some drug dealers in South Africa, Turkey and Morocco, adding that he knows nothing about the recording being circulated online. According to him, he would never be part of anything criminal.

This comes after Nedu revealed his next media project in South Africa and filed a N500 million compensation notice against VeryDarkMan following his accusation of misappropriating UK NGO funds.

Nigerians took to social media to react to Nedu’s response, saying he lied.
