Controversial singer Dalington Achakpo, popularly known as Speed Darlington or Akpi, has accused Grammy Award-winning singer Burna Boy of attempting to deceive Nigerians into believing he is not homosexual.

Speed Darlington made this known following the ongoing drama between Burna Boy and socialite Sophie Egbueje over the purchase of a Lamborghini.

A leaked audio recording has been circulating of Sophie revealing that Burna Boy promised to buy her a Lamborghini, but after sleeping with her, he failed to fulfil his promise.

This sparked massive controversy on social media. In response to the ongoing drama, Speed Darlington, who has a feud with his colleague singer and earlier accused him of being gay, stated that Burna Boy is trying to hide his sexuality and as a result, planned this drama with Sophie.


Although Speed Darlington did not mention any name, he hinted that the person has a connection to disgraced American music executive Diddy and the person also recently had a public spat with a lady.

In the video, Darlington said, "I go to Abuja for shopping, you go to Abuja for police...

"You're here killing yourself, running up and down, trying to prove to the rest of us that you're not gay.

"Na you and that girl plan that thing. 'I know say e go spoil your name but I go give you small money, make you form like say you be olosho, make dem believe say I like woman, you know'.

"P. Diddy guest list, party guest list has come out."
