Nigerian actor and comedian Woli Arole, has faced backlash after he shared his thoughts with women following the passing of 300-level FUNAAB student Christianah Idowu.

Social media went ablaze on Thursday, September 5, 2024, with news of Christianah's death at the hands of her friend, OOU 200-level student Ayomide Adeleye, who is suspected of being a serial murderer.

The unsettling specifics of Christianah's final hours were made public when information about Ayomide's purported victims, including his sister and ex-girlfriend, began to surface.

Given the rise in ritual killings, the actor and preacher declared that the devil is targeting young women's futures.

Arole counselled women against dating males who were involved in fraud, having sugar daddies, engaging in promiscuous behaviour, and spending weekends away from their partners.

The actor underlined that women should prioritize prayer, Bible study, and giving their lives to Christ since these things will matter more in the long run than material wealth or romantic relationships.

He wrote, “Ladies don’t fornicate around, don’t carry Sugar Daddy, don’t follow one boyfriend away for a weekend, don’t date BOYS you know that are doing fraud!!!. Be careful. Beware. Study your Bible, PRAY. Give your life to Christ. Your destiny is more than SEX and MONEY”
