Nigerian Grammy Award-winning singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid has sparked reactions on social media after his newly released song 'Kese' vanished from the Apple Music Charts.

According to claims online, Kese Dance, a track off Wizkid’s soon-to-be-released Morayo album, has disappeared from the streaming platform's Apple Music chart.

The song was released on Friday, November 15 and, eight hours after its release, became one of the fastest songs to reach the top of the Apple Music Nigeria chart.

Nigeria is now the 15th nation in the world to have a song with over 1.5 million plays on its daily chart in a single day, thanks to "Dance."

Wizkid's song's disappearance sparked confusion among many people including popular blogger, Tunde Ednut who wondered what could have triggered the disappearance of the song.

Taking to his Instagram page, he wrote, "What happened? The song is still on Apple Music, but it’s not on charts, so what happened? What could be the reason?"

Many social media users noted that it could be that Wizkid did not reach the top of the charts through organic means that's why the song disappeared a few hours after topping the charts.
