Afrobeats legend, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun better known as Wizkid turns 31 today.
Born on this day in 1990, the singer, alongside others has ensured Nigerian music is heard globally.
Starting from a humble beginning with his first single "Hola at your boy" under the management of Banky W's EME records, the Starboy like he is fondly called has managed to stay humble in spite of his global appeal.
He has worked with some of the world's greatest music stars including Beyonce who he recently won a Grammy Award. Chris Brown, Damiam Marley, Drake and H.E.R add up to that longlist.
