Popular Nigerian self-proclaimed financial adviser, Geh Geh, has revealed why Afrobeats star Davido may never win a Grammy Award.

In a post shared on social media, Geh Geh claimed that the Grammy Awards prioritise marketing over recognition.

He stated that top musicians like Davido are used for the promotion of the award scheme rather than being rewarded.

Geh Geh’s comment comes after Tems beat Davido and other top Nigerian artistes to win the 67th Grammy Award.

“If you check the history of the Grammy, na people wey no really care about the award dey win. Once they know you are really obsessed with it, you go cry tire, you no go see am.”

His statement has since sparked mixed reactions on social media.
