Popular actress Iyabo Ojo caused a stir on social media when she took to her Instagram page to congratulate the newly appointed president of the NURTW, MC Oluomo.

On Saturday, November 9, 2024, MC Oluomo emerged as the new National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW.

Her congratulatory post comes a year after Iyabo Ojo fell out with MC Oluomo during the general election, where she described him as a thug.

In an effort to put their differences aside, she shared a post wishing the new NURTW President a long life, prosperity, good health, happiness, and success.

She wrote, “Congratulations on your newly elected appointment as the president of Nurtw… I wish you a long and prosperous tenure filled with good health, happiness, and continued success. May you excel in all your endeavors and achieve great heights. Once again, congratulations! @kingmcoluomo”.

Her post attracted several reactions from Nigerians, including her nemesis activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan.

VDM, who could not resist her post, shared a video where he sarcastically mocked the actress. He pointed out that Iyabo Ojo is seeking sponsors for her daughter’s upcoming wedding, hence her actions.
