Nigerian comedian and actor Aya Kanu Aya popularly known as MC Mbakara has shared a video of himself washing his wife's underwear to highlight the value of males doing the same.

The comedian exhorted men to consider their romantic gestures and assist their partners when necessary.

Noting that some women wear buba as underwear, MC Mbakara also recommended that men buy their spouses underwear they like.

He said, “Husbands hear me well, when last did you wash your wife’s pants or her clothes? Some of you don’t know how to be romantic or make a woman feel good. What’s there? What’s pants? It is not like you should do it every time. Just pick a few of her clothes and pants and wash them. Just wash her stuff and make her feel good. Go and buy your wife the type of pants you like because some women wear buba as pants”.

MC Mbakara is married to Lolo Mbakara and he often features her on his content.

Since then, social media users have reacted angrily to his statement, with many criticizing him for making it. They expressed how uncomfortable and ashamed they were of him for being a man.
