Activist Martins Vincent Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan, released a voice recording in which crossdresser Bobrisky claimed to have paid N15 million to officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as a bribe.

In the audio, Bobrisky admitted to offering the N15m to EFCC officials in exchange for dropping the money laundering charges against him.

He also mentioned that he did not spend any time in prison after being convicted and sentenced to six-months, as his godfather arranged for him to stay at a lodge.

These allegations prompted to EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, to call for an investigation into the matter.

Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, who was arrested in April and sentenced to six months in prison for mutilating the naira, has denied the accusations made by VeryDarkMan.

He refuted the claims of bribing EFCC officials with N15 million.

Bobrisky took to his social media page to defend himself, stating, “My attention has been drawn to a fake voice recording circulating on the internet that I paid EFCC 15 million naira and that I was never in prison.

“I didn’t pay any EFCC money; it is a very big lie. I served my term in full and I came out. Discard any false information.”
