Rapper and activist Folarin Falana, better known as Falz and his father, lawyer Femi Falana, have been allegedly linked to a bribery scandal involving crossdresser Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, released an audio on Tuesday where Bobrisky alleged to have paid EFCC officials N15 million to drop the charges of money laundering.

In the recording, Bobrisky was alleged to have claimed not spending a day in prison but was taken to a lodge, where he stayed throughout his sentence.

Bobrisky also allegedly implicated Falz and his father. The crossdresser claimed Falz appealed to his father to help seek a pardon for Bobrisky and get an early release.

It was alleged that Bobrisky paid Femi Falana N10 million to get his name expunged from the records.

As a result, the EFCC chairman, Ola Olukoyede, has called for an investigation into the allegations.
