Social media commentator Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has reacted to viral claims that he was denied entry to businessman Obi Cubana's 50th birthday party in Abuja.
The lavish celebration, held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, was attended by an array of friends, colleagues, and fans who gathered to honor the renowned entrepreneur.
As videos from the event continue to dominate social media trends, popular media personality Radiogad fueled speculation online.
He claimed that Cubana had personally sent him an invitation to the party, which he could not attend due to being out of the country. Radiogad also took a dig at VDM, alleging that the commentator—who is based in Abuja—did not receive an invite.
In a further claim, Radiogad alleged that VDM attempted to gatecrash the party but was turned away at the entrance.
Responding to the rumors, VDM accused Radiogad and others of plotting his downfall, asserting that they had no evidence to support their claims.
VDM also refuted separate rumors initiated by actor Uche Maduagwu, who alleged that he had been deported from China.
"The thing is, they are waiting for my downfall. It didn’t happen, so they decided to plan my downfall. The plan failed, and now they’ve created a story to make themselves happy... pitiful. Just google The Ratel," VDM wrote in part.
Aside from VDM, Radiogad also took aim at Nollywood stars and couple Yul Edochie and Judy Austin, mocking them for not being invited to Obi Cubana's birthday party despite also being based in Abuja.
